Not Pulling Image From Folder

edited January 2014 in Need Help

I don't want to use the searched image because the images it pulls have nothing to do with my articles. I added a folder with images. I went to location \GSA Search Engine Ranker\Engines---->content_search.dat and deleted all contents in content_search.dat except what is left below highlighted in yellow.  It is still pulling unrelated images from search. I have restarted the program and still it's pulling images from mysterious search. What other files do I have to modify or what is it I'm missing?

;edit this to your needs

;this could be used to take a random image from a folder
;[local_images_to_data_url]
;type=image
;result=\n\n<img src="%spinfolder_data_url-C:\Users\Administrator\Dropbox\GSA\Images Project1\%" style="max-width:4{1|2|3|4|5|0|0|0}0px;float:{#left left|#left left|#left left|#left left|#right right};padding:{#right 10px 0px 10px 10px|#left 10px 10px 10px 0px};border:0px;">

********Edit********

I realized there is another content_search.dat file in \GSA Search Engine Ranker folder and replaced that one with the same file as above.  Now no images are showing at all. Please help.

    just wait for the next version where you can insert custom images/videos in gui
  • Wow I just now figured part of this out by going through countless search which I couldn't find answers.  But I saw one post from August where you told someone to  use macro <img src="%spinfolder_data_url-c:\folder_with_images\%" />.  I was missing the "<img src=" part.  I did that but the text is not wrapping around image, so I came back here to find out how to do that with no success.

    I think I'll just wait for the next version then, it'll be an easier and hassle-free process.  Thank you for that!

    One more question should there be 2 content_search.dat files? 1 in:

    C:\Program Files\GSA Search Engine Ranker---->content_search.dat

    and the other in:

    C:\Program Files\GSA Search Engine Ranker\Engines---->content_search.dat

    C:\Program Files\GSA Search Engine Ranker is the right directory.
