More IP/Proxy block on v6.13

Hi Sven

After upgraded to v6.13, I noticed more ip/proxy block in the log file. But I check the IP against google.com, all of them are working. I'm using private proxies.

  • With google banned proxies you can still access google homepage.
  • The main problem is that it shows 000/000. No targets!

That's a very interesting point! If I recall the SER Google proxy test, tries to load up the homepage, and does a search for a string on that page.

@Sven - I tried this in my browser yesterday with a proxy. The Google homepage loaded fine, but when I did a search it blocked it. Surely the Google proxy test in should be to do a search with a common term and see if it returns results?
  • I see the same problem as zuluranger since updating to 6.13
Whenever I see in the log file "ip/proxy block", I also get 000/000 targets.
I have plenty of proxies and all passed the google tests in both GSA SER and Scrapebox.

I start to see often "possible firewall and proxy issue" with yahoo for instance and again all green with a test using yahoo.com to test with.
