Follow redirects at verified urls

For ex. wordpress posts make a link example.com/?p=255 and then they we are redirected to example.com/%article_title%
But sometimes in the verified urls we have "example.com/?p=255" and when checking google index for these urls, we wont be able to find that in the Google. Does that make sense?
