Captcha Threads On Multiple Projects

Hi

Many of the Captcha services have a limit on the number of threads.
E.g. https://captchas.io/ has 5 threads.

Since I have 10 projects and they do different things at different times, do I set the limit to 5 for each project?
- I.e. so if it's submitting it can go up to 5 threads?
But what happens if another project is also submitting and tries to push the captcha, will it wait for the other threads to finish in the other project?

Question:
What thread count do you set for the Captcha service when using multiple projects?

this thread limit is per account. If you use the same account on multiple projects, it's remembered that another project used that same account on that same service and so it will stick to that entered setting.

You have to choose that 5 thread-limit on all projects.
  • Depending on the volume of captchas you want to solve per unit time. You need to know what is the ave. solving time for these captcha services and you need to know how much waiting time they allow if captcha threads get full or all used up. Each service has a different waiting time setting. In the case for https://captchas.io we allow 2 minutes for a request to wait if all your threads are busy, if so after 2 minutes if no threads are free and available we trash or display an error for the request.

My advice is to have a dedicated account with separate thread limits or thread caps for each of your projects as not to affect or suffer from thread load bottlenecks... https://captchas.io is your choice for this kind of setting considering the prices of each package plan.

You have to choose that 5 thread-limit on all projects.

    1) So if you have 2 projects and it tries to hit 8 threads it will queue the extra 3 right and wait for an opening?

    2) Is it best to configure this in Contact Submitter or as fallback for tricky captchas in Captcha breaker? (Which is better)

    1) yes
    2) do not add it to captcha breaker, should always be configured in the main app if possible to skip waiting times
