download failed (Return. -, SockError: Connection reset by peer)

I know this has been talked too many times but i'm getting this error "download failed (Return. -, SockError: Connection reset by peer)" using proxies and not using proxies, proxies work fine and firewall rules are correct. Is there anything i'm missing? I'm running on a vps with enough cpu/ram, unlimited bandwidth, only 50 threads and latest version.
