What's the most efficient way to filter out a list

I am currently using looplines auto sync list.
What is the best way for me to filter out and keep all dofollow.

I run 3 tiers
1 - article / social network platforms
2 - as above
3 - guestbook, blog comments, image comments

I don't wanna buy another SER & CB license if i don't have to, that also means another vps.

Should I just keep running the projects and every week or so, show all verified and add the dofollow to sitelists (building them up in the end)
Or what's best/advised?

It seems to waste resources when it's fetching from looplines auto sync and getting a lot of no engine matches.
Is there a way for certain tiers as above, to fetch from that auto sync, only the engines I use?

Looking forward to replies,
Thanks

Don't pull from the auto sync. This is how I do it.

    Map your folders as so.

    Identified - Contextuals to process.
    Submitted - Blog/Image/Guestbook to process.
    Verified - Processed Contextuals.
    Failed - Processed Blog/Image/Guestbook.

Then you open loop lines folder and paste your contextual screen from there into the Identified folder, paste the Blog/Image/Guestbook into the submitted folder.

You do this as to my knowledge SER will test every target in the folder rather than only the specific engines selected so you don't want time wasted on engines you won't use.

Make at least two projects one to filter contextuals and pull from Identified and one to pull from submitted and let them run.

Then go in as I showed you and send to the correct folders and have live projects pull from the filtered folders required.

I still think having a stand alone rig to do this is the best way to go though so your main rig can just focus on live projects.
  • Yeah good idea, I was gonna do something like this but the "failed" folder, it made me think that if GSA failed to post to a link it would add it there, mixing up my lists.

What do you mean "paste your contextual screen" into identified.

Thing is also, does this mean I need to sit and highlight each engines list from the synced list to then copy/paste? Or do you mean all of blogs, all of guestbooks, all of image comments etc.

Then from there, give it a week+ of doing that, then show verified of all those, and uncheck engines with high nofollow% ?

If you dont tick the tick box to the left of the paths for the folder in settings then SER wont write to them.

Literally open looplines folder and then select the contextual based files. Copy them, open your identified folder and paste them in there.

  • I agree it's best to have another vps/ser running, this isn't that fast at processing them and that's with all my projects inactive, hmm.

You still on that same VPS or have you upgraded?
  • Upgraded that day mate
  • 600 threads makes it use 37% cpu now

@shaun thanks, thats an interesting idea. But I have one question:

"Then go in as I showed you and send to the correct folders and have live projects pull from the filtered folders required.".

Where can i setup the location for verified targets in the project? I thought SER sends them only in the specified global (verified) list.

I am crazy selective in what gets a chance to be verified in my filtering projects but just to put things in perspective of what I actually keep and let go live from these lists.....

Two different list services over 24 hours contextual only. Over the next five days or so I expect link the filtered links to go upto around 500 or so.

Give this a read, I can't believe its been almost a year since I made that post! I am even more strict on my process these days.

razzaguhl A picture paints a thousand words :). Basically lets you select the targets you want and push them to whatever folder you want.

  • See, what i'm getting is like thousands of k2, which I have yet to see whether bad or not.

So from the lists, the ones you choose to actually hit the money site is a very small %

Ok cool I'll give that a read, thanks.
  • Just read through that post, very interesting! Exactly whats happening here, a lot of k2 etc. That post is really helpful and thorough good job!

That's where I'm going wrong, I'm thinking these lists should be giving me thousands and thousands of backlinks that I want lol, obviously gonna take time, but like you said is it worth the $50/month, hmm.
  • If I removed K2, I'd have nothing lmfao
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
You wouldent have nothing, you are getting so many K2 because its so easy to post to and so plentiful on the lists.

    Turn off K2 and PHPWeb.

At this stage for what you are doing also turn of UCenter, Question2Answer, Elgg and PHPFox as they are majority no follow other wise they are solid engines. PHPFox is around 20% do follow so you filter them into your list but for now drop it to prioritise better engines.
  • Yeah I turned off all of those this morning after seeing the amount of nofollow those create.

I'm on page 3 of that other K2 post in this forum, very interesting and true.

I suppose filtering everything right down, if LPM is slower, so what, in the end it means that its a lot better quality.

Exactly mate, people say LPM and VPM don't matter or are irrelevant but in my opinion that's a load of crap. Both of them have their place and are important metrics to track depending what you are doing. Although its not trackable in SER I mentioned it in this thread last night. With filtering all that matters is Actions per minute. A name I totally made up for myself and essentially it means the number of sites SER attempts to post to per minute. I did do checks years back with downloads per minute and it didnt seem to correlate but that may serve the same purpose.

Anyway that K2 thread is old, this is my theory and is unconfirmed but I think the K2 plugin was forced to update earlier this year when the Joomla CMS was updated. The number of Verifieds for the engine reduced massivly and the index rate for what was left went up massively. I think the update basically got rid of all the hacked stuff and the stuff that was indexing before was left because they were decent sites without problems.

For example back then for ease of math say you had 100 verified K2s but only 5% indexed so 5 are indexed. Now say the CMS update is pushed out and the 90 verified K2s you had that were hacked, based on broken databases, auto injected overlays or forced mouse movement are now gone. You have 10 verified K2s left on your list now, these are clean sites and you can still index 5 of them but because the crap is gone your index rate for the platform is now 50%. Meaning you can use the engine more reliable as it is a better platform.

I think it was you I told the other day in PM or on team viewer that I told I have some tests going right now with K2 and they are climbing. Still waiting for the results but they are climbing even though it is slow as hell.
  • @shaun you've hit GSA SER level Expert  :))

I really should fire mine back up, think I've got 5 licenses (or more can't remember) of SER and CB gathering dust.
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
JudderMan Cheers mate. I have so much stuff on this tool set its unreal man. I mentioned a few month back to RedRays how I had over 250,000 words of ideas/titles for posts on SEO, GSA tools and other tools and stuff to make my own blog. I typed up two guides totaling just under 30,000 words combined and then gave up lol.

With so many people already having the toolsets there's just no way to make the time investment profitable.
  • Well I have 33k verified do follow k2 after removing duplicates, even if they are good, I can't really have 90% k2 as my tier 1, it's just firing those away with small amounts of other engines so not much diversification there.

I'll just keep at it, each to their own and all. Awesome points you've made though, I guess I'd only know stuff what works for me by trying.

    Thanks a lot mate

And 36k PHPWeb so far, only been a week or less.

What was the reason to untick PHPWeb? I guess by me easily getting 30k+ on these 2 is a sign that everyone else easily posts to them also  I guess

Bring up your verifieds right click and open a hundred or so PHPWebs and look at them. They have Asian text characters so I cant understand what the site is about and many of them have porn/gambeling/pharama ads on them or at least the ones I had.

Some of the domains are totally solid though. I made this suggestion ages ago to try improve its usability but the feature hasnt gone live in SER yet.

Essentially you would make a PHPWeb filtering project, bring its verifieds up, right click, select no follow and delete then right click select non US/UK/EU and delete so you are left with US/UK/EU do follows that you can right click and add to a folder to go live with and use on test sites to see how they do then use on money sites if you wish.

@shaun thanks for clarification. That's a neat little hack ;-)

Great discussion here so far, there is a lot to learn for me. Thanks for this.
  • razzaguhlrazzaguhl Deutschland
@shaun sorry, another question. cannot find the mentioned country-selection

    "right click select non US/UK/EU"

  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
That's not an option mate it was a suggestion I made.
  • razzaguhlrazzaguhl Deutschland
