Starting SEREngines with Scheduler

Hi all,

I note that when I start up GSA with scheduler, SEREngines doesn't perform the normal prerequisites and checks that it does normally when I start all projects normally.

Is this because it actually isn't activated when using scheduler?

I don't see SER building any links from SEREngines and certainly don't see any of the new BETA version PR9 links etc.

Any help or advice appreciated!

Regarding the sceduler, I'm not exactly sure about that. Scheduled posting options should work fine with SERengines. I'll have to talk to Sven about the scheduler.

You aren't seeing the Beta category for SERengines with the included beta engines? When you pop in your key SERengines key and press "update" the new category should appear.
  • I am seeing them but not noticing any links being built when using the scheduler as appose to just starting the projects normally which is why I was wondering if the scheduler allows for SEREngines.

Normally SER starts and says "SEREngines checking and performing updates, please wait...."

But not when you start with the scheduler.

Hmm, I just tested on my end with SERengines projects and they all started. What settings do you have set for the scheduler? Sven said it should work like other engines.
  • I just double checked all of this and it seems that when I start with scheduler, there is a DLL loading Error that stops SEREngines from preforming its task.

On the other hand if I stop all projects and start without scheduler, then it loads up and produces links no problem.
  • Here is a screenshot of the Error: http://prntscr.com/dcr3kl

I'm experiencing the same problem too.

But after successfully running SEREngines WITHOUT the scheduler, I can then stop the projects and rerun them WITH the scheduler without any problem.

Seems a bit buggy to me, well it's still in beta...
