article first sentence duplicate

Hi @sven,

I use the macro to read articles from folders. And I have set up the articles creation in such a way that the title = first sentence, and thus:

How do I prevent that the first sentence also is the start of the body?

Thanks.

actually you can not prevent this. Maybe I should cut that off automatically when this macro is used....any suggestions?
  • I would make a separate macro for it, something like:

    %first_sentence-article_cutoff%
    %first_paragraph-article_cutoff%

So people can use the macro that fits their DATA import format.

Hi @Sven, is this on your todo?
  • SvenSven www.GSA-Online.de
well noone seems to be interested in this or wants to add his comments...so Im still unsure.
  • I understand not many people experience this problem, I think only a handfull use the macro's this intensively.. Took me quite some time to figure it all out tooo.

Well, if you find the time let me know, and I change the macro.
  • Hi @myhq,

    This may help you out:

However, you need to remove the title from the first sentence of your articles and rename your files as the article title.
  • Hi @TheGypsy, sorry i forgot to come back.

But this won't work since I use spun article files.. So this would give all my articles the same title...
