Pull private domain data from folder.

Evening @Sven,

I know I can open a project and click Tools - Import - Account Data - File/Clipboard but it seems that if the project is stopped for any reason or SER is updated and reboots the details are lost and its starting to get to me needing to go back in and add the data to a bunch of projects.

Is there any other way to do it so they keep the data? Ideally it would be nice if I could just make one of the folders such as failed a PBN folder and have SER projects pull URLs from there to post to as and when I need them to. I tried doing this but it doesnt seem to work and returns and error with sign ups not being open or something.

Is there anyway you could add the ability for SER to recognise account data when pulled from folders or add a new folder that is just for PBN data so users could store their PBN details in there for SER to post to?

Cheers

Shaun

    actually no, this data is saved and not lost on a restart/reboot.

    It has happened multiple times today, will mess about and see if I can see anything that is causing it.

    if you import accounts, it's written in *.static file + *.*targets
  • shaunshaun https://www.youtube.com/ShaunMarrs
    Are those targets put into some sort of internal cache where the user is unable to see them? So going Right Click - Show URLs - Show Remaining Target URLs they wont be there?

    When it happens thats empty and when it reachest its scheduled time to post nothing happens after the resets, where as before it just cracks on and posts.

    if you import accounts, then you are asked to start submitting there now...if said yes, then it will add them to *.new_targets file and they should be visible when you view them over right click.

    Anyway, if the project runs, it might have read thm already and removed them from file. It will however save them back to file if you quit it.

    @sven

    I have been trying to fault find this and i'm 99% sure that there is a bug in SER and its not working how you say it should, here is a link of a screen capture to show whats happening.....

    Both projects are exactly the same, They start at the same time with the same set of blogs to post out to at a rate of 6 posts per minute. Once they have both posted their first set of 6 I set project 2 to inactive momentarily and then set it back to active. Project 1 keeps posting as it should, project 2 fails to post anymore, over time the little red warning triangle appears and says no targets. The same thing happens to these projects if I press stop on SER, it crashes and needs a reboot or I update the tool.

    I know you are busy but is there any chance you could take a look into it when you get a little spare time? I can only see this stratergy being implimented by more and more users over time so having SER be able to do it reliably will be advantages to GSA and could help bring in additional sales.

    @shaun can you send me the project backups and maybe exact procedure to reproduce this over here? I was not able to get it to crash or see things as in your video :/
