Generic Keywords Percentage

Guys, what is the best percentage to have my generic keywords set up as. I am trying to rank for a site but not sure what percent I should use my main money keywords along with generic without making it look unnatural. Can anyone give me an example of how the branding, generic and other keyword percentages should be set up in a 3 tier project?
