How to set default settings for all new projects?

How can I set options in one project that will be default for all future new projects?

    you can create yourself a template and instead of clicking NEW, you click on the down arrow on NEW and choose the template.

    Thank you for response. There are so many options in SER it is hard to figure everything out!

    When
    I click down arrow beside NEW I see two options: NEW and NEW(Enter
    Name). If I choose NEW(Enter Name) then setup project then click OK it
    will ask me for name, but then this project is not available in with New
    down-arrow... it still only shows two options NEW and NEW(Enter Name).

    youc an create templates when editing a project and click tools->export->template
