How to import .ser file

Hi guys

I have been given a config file to set up my GSA by some friends in a .ser file they told me to just click on GSA and goto import, but I cannot for the life of my figure out how? anyone tell me what I am doing wrong ?

    right click on the projects window->modify->restore backup
