question about chooice a domain

I try to get a pr 5 domain from godaddy.com and after hunting the domain I use ahref.com to check exist anchor text and backlinks history it turn out nothing.

My question is if I purchase this domain and the pang rank will remain no change without any backlinks toward to it? or what do I need to do to remain its pr ?

    PR is apparently a metric that Google is slowly doing away with so I wouldn't count on that too much in the future. Might consider going off different metrics from third parties. Some people use Moz Citation Flow/Trust Flow as a more valuable metric.

    my question is even with a good Moz Citation Flow/Trust Flow but no any backlinks  on ahref.com.  is the value gonna to stay or reduce?  and how would I maintain the value?

    When google comes around again to spider it and take its measurements if the content and links that were going to that domain are gone then it could lose it...
