Spanish Word Accent Bug

edited January 2013 in Bugs
SER currently replaces spanish word accents with an unknown character. I am trying to import spanish keyword lists into SER, but as of now, this is impossible. I also tested out search results with the spanish accented words compared to their english counterparts (é to e or í to i,etc) and they do bring up different results.

next version let's you import in different formats.
  • As always....thank you for your continued support. If there is a way for me to import the list, currently, without these issues.....let me know.

open it up in some advanced editor and convert it to utf-8 ...than it imports fine

PsPad can do that (Notepad++ as well I would guess).

  • Yep....that seemed to work. Notepad has that feature as well. I re-saved in Notepad as UTF-8 and imported successfully.
