New Dropdown Box For When Links Get Verified

As noted in another thread by @LeeG, many links take a few days to be deleted. So you can verify if a link was built today, and SER will say "yes" - it exists. But then 3 days later the moderator kills the link.

Right now we have a great option to control how often you verify links (recently added). But I am proposing something far more effective for keeping your verified list "real".

Just have an option to verify links based on submission date. Example: Submission + "x" days. We all know that we can eliminate many false positive verified links if we delay the verification to allow time for the website moderators to kill the link. Like submission date + 5 days.

Why is it important? You could be building thousands of links each day on Tier 2 to links on Tier 1 that end up getting deleted over the next five days. And you just wasted a lot of linkbuilding to links that disappear.

  • make sense.

how about if GSA SER checks if the target url is a dead link then it is placed in a project bucket file and have the user the option to do a link check then either the user deletes it or is recycled back to the project as a target url.
  • I agree with ron that would be a great feature.
