My Article Title and Body Does Not Match - using the spinfolder macro

I've many spun articles and I import them into my projects using the spinfolder macro as described in this thread,

https://forum.gsa-online.de/discussion/631/question-about-matching-article-with-article-titles-summaries

I was checking my verified links and found out that most of my submitted articles have mismatched titles. I'm submitting to these platforms, Article, Social Network, and Wiki.

If you're using the spinfolder macro, can you please check if your submitted articles have matching titles?

How did you set this up? Are you using the same file names for the titles/articles in the folders?
  • Hi @Sven, welcome back!...

    Here's my settings,

    Article Manager,
    Title:
    %spinfolder-C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\Title%
    Summary:
    %spinfolder-C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\Summary%
    Body:
    %spinfolder-C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\Body%

    Article Folder,
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\Title\
      A10001-Automotive-CarShopping.txt
      A10002-Business-ArticleMarketing.txt
      A10003-Business-EmailMarketing.txt
    .
    .
      A10061-Technology-WebHosting.txt

    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\Summary\
      A10001-Automotive-CarShopping.txt
      A10002-Business-ArticleMarketing.txt
      A10003-Business-EmailMarketing.txt
    .
    .
      A10061-Technology-WebHosting.txt

    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\Body\
      A10001-Automotive-CarShopping.txt
      A10002-Business-ArticleMarketing.txt
      A10003-Business-EmailMarketing.txt
    .
    .
      A10061-Technology-WebHosting.txt

    While editing the project,

Test - Title and Article matches.

Preview - Title and Article does not match

Submission - Title and Article does not match, here is one of them,

    http://sacaspi.handybag.fr/?q=page/gita-m-henein-how-put-beautiful-flower-garden-landscape

The title is about landscaping while the article is about cats. I have an article about landscaping and yes I have checked the contents of each file (Title, Summary, and Body).

I've devised my own fix, and here's my solution,

    Article Folder,
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10001\Title\
      A10001-Automotive-CarShopping.txt
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10001\Summary\
      A10001-Automotive-CarShopping.txt
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10001\Body\
      A10001-Automotive-CarShopping.txt

    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10002\Title\
      A10002-Business-ArticleMarketing.txt
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10002\Summary\
      A10002-Business-ArticleMarketing.txt
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10002\Body\
      A10002-Business-ArticleMarketing.txt

    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10003\Title\
      A10003-Business-EmailMarketing.txt
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10003\Summary\
      A10003-Business-EmailMarketing.txt
    C:\Dropbox\GSA_SER\Projects\Articles\A10003\Body\
      A10003-Business-EmailMarketing.txt

There is only one .txt file in each folder, hence %spinfolder% has to select that one, which is the right one.

This is not an urgent problem, since I've my own fix, and looks like I'm the only one having this problem.

Please give the recaptcha problem more priority.

Thanks and great to have you back... :)
